Bureaucracy

I have the lurgy. I'm tired and I'm cranky and this letter came in the mail today.

So I guess I'm supposed to just confine myself to my house, and not participate in society, or I could take the other option and pay for extra cylinders.

But, ignoring everything else, can you imagine having to pay for the air that you breathe?

Got to hate the bureaucracy. Take care of yourself. I know a simple lurgy is not simple in your case.

Not what you need at any time, and particularly when you have a lurgy!! How ridiculous. I hope that is just a mistake and that when you show the doctors they pfft and fix it all up immediately.

Sometimes I wish that bereaucracy had to experience what some people have to before they make the judgement call of what they are and aren't allowed.

Oh boy, what a shitty letter! We all take breathing for granted until you have trouble doing it! Sending big warm hugs!

fuck it. this shit really pisses me off! I really have no other words for it!!!

And sorry to hear you're not well, bright side you'll be saving some of your cylinders if you're not feeling up to going out?? Let's hope those lungs come soon hey, then you won't have to worry about any of this crap :)

Cam, that's outrageous!
Obviously the decisions are made by people who have absolutely no clue.
Hope you feel better soon.

ARGH! May I just say however the person writing it obviously is having an identity crisis as they go from plural to singular tense in the first sentence. Therefore the voices in her head are obviously not that loud!

This is simply beyond belief! How can you possible be using to much air!????!!!! There is no such thing! How can there be an allocated amount - you should just get as much as you require! The end! Ridiculous people.

that is a load of crap :( things like that drive me insane. so sorry a person needs this to have a sort of normal life, I wish the people that wrote these letters knew what people with a disibitly go through to try and have a normal life. yes I know some people do know, but its still very frustrating.

If it were my job to write such a letter I'd quit. What a load of red tape and unthoughtfulness. Hope you feel better soon and get your crafty mojo back!

That's just plain rude! Perhaps they expect if you need more than that that you would be in hospital??

What do they think you're doing with the extra oxygen? Wasting it? Sharing it with your friends?
Wouldn't our taxes be better spent giving you ( and others in need) an extra tank a week rather than paying the wages of the people who make these decisions?

God this just makes me CRAZY! Denying someone oxygen. I wonder how many bottom feeding bureaucrats it takes to "review" those files anyway? Ugh.

Hope the lurgy leaves you soon. Big hugs xxx

I'm speechless. So, you're presumably supposed to sit at home and not lead an active life to preserve oxygen supplies ... unbelievable.

hope you're feeling better, health-wise soon, and as for those stupid bureaucrats... gah!!

This annoys me so much. Who decides these rules? Who has the heart to make someone pay for the air they need? Meanwhile, there are addicts getting preferential treatment and financial subsidies. It's not fair.
